FBR Vs PP Clashes In Ciledug, Five People Arrested

JAKARTA - The police have arrested five people related to clashes between the Pemuda Pancasila (PP) and the Betawi Rempug Forum (FBR) in the Ciledug area, Tangerang. Those arrested were members of the PP organization.

"From the PP, there are five people. Meanwhile, there are 5," said the Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Deonijiu De Fatima, when confirmed, Saturday, November 20.

However, said Deonijiu, the number of those arrested could increase. In fact, it can also be reduced.

The reason is that those who are currently being detained are only witnesses of the clashes.

"It can grow a lot and can be reduced because not everyone is involved because we have taken witnesses at the location so far, we have only taken 5 people," he said.

Apart from that, continued Deonijiu, his party has coordinated with the leaders of the two mass organizations. They were asked to persuade the members involved to surrender. If later no one admits their actions or surrenders, then strict action will be taken.

"We are still communicating with their leaders from the FBR and PP to consolidate if there are perpetrators who really do it so that they surrender themselves," said Deonijiu.

The Pancasila Youth Organization (PP) and the Betawi Rempug Forum (FBR) were involved in clashes in the Ciledug area, Tangerang, on Friday, November 19.

In the clashes, about three people were injured. Meanwhile, the alleged trigger for the clashes was due to the seizure of land for power.
