JAMBI - The Jambi Regional Police Joint Team raided an illegal fuel oil (BBM) warehouse located in the center of the city, precisely in Lorong Harapan III, Alam Barajo District, Jambi City.

Jambi Police Public Relations Head Kombes Mulia Prianto said the action was carried out by a joint team consisting of personnel from the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) and personnel from the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (Ditintelkam).

During the raid, 17 units of plastic Tedmon filled with fuel with a capacity of one tonne were found and a total of 17 tons of illegal diesel fuel were found at the crime scene.

"When the action was taken, the owner was not found. The owner fled during the raid," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 19.

From the residents' information, he continued, the warehouse activity had been going on for about a few months. The owner of the place previously asked for permission to the RT, with the excuse for a workshop warehouse.

"During the raid, police officers found dozens of tedmon (tanks) still in the warehouse and a legal process will be carried out by the Jambi Police Ditreskrimsus team," said Kombes Mulia.

The Jambi Regional Police are still carrying out operations to eradicate illegal oil or fuel warehouses both in the district and in the city of Jambi.
