JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is determined to hold Formula E in June 2022. This can be seen from the results of re-negotiations with Formula E license holders so that this electric car racing event can be held even though it was postponed.

However, he did not show Anies' belief to the public. Every time he was asked by the media about the plan to organize Formula E, Anies was reluctant to answer with the various responses he showed.

On September 8, the Formula E polemic was brought up in the ratification of the Raperda on Accountability for the Implementation of the Budget and Expenditure Revenue (P2APBD) for the 2020 budget year into a Regional Regulation (Perda) in the plenary meeting room of the DKI DPRD Building.
