BANDARLAMPUNG - Nine workers who fell while working on the construction of The Bay Apartment Lampung building on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Bandarlampung have received treatment.

"Currently, the company has received intensive care and has been treated at the Budi Medika Hospital in Bandarlampung," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.

The work accident incident is currently being handled by investigators from the Bandar Lampung Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Sat Reskrim).

"The Inafis team from the Satreskrim Polresta Bandar Lampung is still processing the crime scene, after it is finished it can be concluded whether there was an element of negligence that caused the work accident," he said.

Pandra added that the work accident began when the alimak elevator machine in the building fell to the ground floor.

The alimak lift machine, which has a maximum capacity of 15 people, was filled by nine workers.

"There are no fatalities, currently nine workers are injured and have received intensive treatment," he said.

Pandra said the company is responsible and guarantees the care for the nine workers until they recover.

"The company will guarantee the treatment of nine workers who are being treated until they recover," he said.
