JAKARTA - One person who was arrested by the East Jakarta Police in connection with the theft of iron from the Jakarta - Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) project turned out to be a former cleaning service officer. The perpetrator, who has not been identified, is the sixth person out of five previously arrested.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commisioner Erwin Kurniawan said the suspect was suspected of informing the location of the project's iron storage to the thieves.

"The insider in question is one of the cleaning services that has been arrested, who informed the location of the metal being targeted by the perpetrators," Erwin told reporters, Monday, November 15.

He also explained that the number of perpetrators who had been arrested so far had been six people. Erwin said that his party was still pursuing the other three perpetrators.
