RI 1 Custom Motorcycle That Will Be Used By President Jokowi At The Mandalika Circuit

PRAYA - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate the construction of the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) today. Jokowi, who will check the readiness of the World Superbike, is reported to have tested the Mandalika circuit with a custom motorbike.

This news was conveyed by the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara, Zulkieflimansyah, who uploaded a video of Jokowi's RI 1 motorbike on his Instagram account. This motorbike is said by the governor to be used by Jokowi to try out the Mandalika circuit.

"Mr. Jokowi can't wait to try out the Mandalika circuit tomorrow afternoon," said NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah, Thursday, November 11.

President Jokowi's motorbike, which has arrived in NTB, is a basic Kawasaki W175 Cafe Racer model. This custom motorcycle was worked on by Katros Garage with an assembly time of 3 months.

Stuffed with a 177cc single-cylinder carburetor engine, with a maximum power of 9.6 kW at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 13.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

Atenk, the builder said it took three months to work on the President's custom motorcycle.

"We worked on it for a few months, but Covid was cut short, so it took a while, three months. Starting in August 2021," Atenk said as quoted by tvOnenews.com.

Previously, President Joko Widodo also had a custom motorcycle with a chopper bobber style built by Katros Garage. Chopper was built with the base of the Kawasaki W175.

Jokowi had used it on several occasions, including during a working visit to the RI-Malaysia border some time ago. At that time, Jokowi rode his own custom motorcycle that was in the chopper style.
