MEDAN - Former Mayor of Medan Rahudman Harahap and former Regent of Labuhanbatu, HT Milwan joined the NasDem Party.

The joining of the two former regional heads was announced by the North Sumatra Nasdem Party DPW at the same time as the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Nasdem Party. Both are also included in the management structure of the North Sumatran Nasdem Party.

"Nasdem has presented Medan figures, Labuhanbatu figures whose enthusiasm is to restore the Nasdem Party even better. In accordance with their aspirations to become a winning party," said North Sumatra Nasdem Secretary Syarwani in Medan, Thursday, November 11.

Syarwani believes that the two former regional heads will increase the party's electability. So that the target of becoming the first winner of the 2024 General Election can be achieved.

"With their figures, they can increase the party's electability, we really hope that the champions can be won. We hope that the Nasdem DPD in the existing districts/cities must also be eager to win, what Mr. Iskandar said to become a champion in 2024 is not impossible to achieve.

"With hard work and smart work, then have to cooperate and embrace, becoming a champion in 2024 is not impossible," continued Syarwani.

Syarwani said Tengku Milwan was trusted to be the Chairman of the OKK. Meanwhile, Rahudman Harahap became the Regional Coordinator for Winning the Tabagsel Region.

Chairman of the Advisory Council of the North Sumatran NasDem Party, Tengku Erry Nuradi, said that NasDem was established for the movement for change.

"Earlier, we both heard the direction of the general chairman, Mr. Surya Paloh, that the Nasdem party was founded for the movement for change, restoration. What Mr. Surya Paloh said that the interests of the state must be above all, Nasdem was born wanting to provide a movement for change," he said.
