Four People Died In Accidents Pajero, Rush, Sigra And 3 Motorcycles In Tanjungsari Sumedang

BANDUNG - Four people died after being involved in a collision on the Bandung-Cirebon Highway, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency, West Java.

Kasatlantas Sumedang Polres AKP Kiki Hartaki said the accident was allegedly caused by a truck with license plate number D 9597 AE that rammed three cars and four motorcycles while downhill.

"The truck carrying a cargo of coal drove from Cirebon to Bandung when it arrived at the road mentioned above, when it passed the road when it turned left, it crashed downhill," said Kiki in Sumedang, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 7.

The vehicles involved in the accident were Pajero, Rush, Sigra, and Satria F, Smash, Scoopy, and Vario motorcycles.

Kiki explained that the four people who died were Riyan Sandi Permana (16) who was riding on a Smash motorbike, Listiani Hapita Dewi (31) who was riding a Scoopy motorbike, Iyah Sariah (50) who was riding with Scoopy, and Rina Anggraeni (17) who was riding with Satria F.

In addition, there were also three other people who were injured, namely Muhammad Ridwan (29), Titin Supriatin (20), and another person whose identity has not been recorded.

From the temporary crime scene (TKP), Kiki suspects that the accident was caused by the negligence of the truck driver, whose initials are S (42). The reason is, it is suspected that S did not apply a safe distance when descending until he hit the vehicle in front of him.

"Currently, both the deceased and those with minor injuries are at the AMC Cileunyi Hospital, Bandung Regency," said Kiki.
