"There were 32 rangers who were dispatched to the location and this morning there were seven additional rangers," said Head of BTNK Lukita Awang, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 3.

When extinguishing the fire, the rangers were assisted by 11 residents of Rinca/Kerora. A total of 50 personnel who tried to extinguish the fire at the fire site.

Lukita said the officers had carried out a re-comb to make sure there were no embers left. There are no more fires at the location until this afternoon, while the Komodo dragons are in a safe condition.
