New Album Releases, Tom Morello Gets Bruce Springsteen And Eddie Vedder Shouts Highway To Hell

JAKARTA - Rage Against The Machine guitarist, Tom Morello will release a solo album titled The Atlas Underground Fire.

Wednesday, August 4, Tom Morello released the debut song from his new album, Highway to Hell. The names of Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder are coupled as duet friends in this version.

"Our version of 'Highway to Hell' is a tribute to AC/DC but with Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder, takes this legendary song to the future," said Tom Morello.

According to him, this song is one of the best rock n' roll songs of all time. He also added a guitar solo in this part of the song. The trio performed Highway to Hell on Bruce Springsteen's High Hopes tour in Australia in 2014.

The album The Atlas Underground Fire is a continuation of the album The Atlas Underground which was released in 2018. Working during the pandemic, Morello records his music in his home studio in Los Angeles and mostly uses a smartphone.

"This sounds outrageous but it leads to creative freedom where I don't think about the guitar part and trust my instincts more." This album is his way of finding an artistic side in the midst of fear because of the situation.

Tom Morello also collaborates with a line of singers from various genres, namely the band Bring Me The Horizon, Chris Stapleton, Mike Posner, Damian Marley, and others.

The Atlas Underground Fire will release on October 15 digitally and physically.
