+62 Coffee R-I Fest 2026 Ready to Combine Music, Culture, and Coffee Aroma

JAKARTA - Good news for lovers of music and coffee festivals in the country. The annual festival that celebrates the spirit of nationalism, +62 Coffee R-I Fest (Ruang Indonesia Festival), officially announced the schedule for the fifth edition.

This event is sure to shake Open Space and Gambir Expo, JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, for three consecutive days on August 14-16.

Carrying the spirit of togetherness, this year's festival promises a more colorful experience than the previous edition.

Director of PT Expo Indonesia Jaya, Novry Hetharia, explained that this year's +62 Coffee R-I Fest will present three different major themes each day, namely the Collaboration of Java Land, the Collaboration of the 90s, and the Collaboration of the Homeland.

"This collaboration is expected to develop a sense of nationalism in various positive activities, preserve the culture of celebrating Indonesian independence in the modern and digital era," said Novry at a press conference in South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 9.

Not only music, but also the typical tradition of "seventeen" such as the tug of mine competition, eating crackers, and bakiak will still be maintained to maintain the typical atmosphere of the Indonesian Independence Day.

One interesting thing this year is the presence of +62 Coffee as the main sponsor and collaboration partner.

Restu as Head of Development +62 Coffee, revealed the reason behind the involvement of partners. According to him, the culture of drinking coffee and listening to music are two things that are inseparable from the lifestyle of young Indonesians.

"Last year we were a tenant, and we saw that the enthusiasm of Indonesian music fans was very hot. Music is not far from coffee, it's a culture that can really be combined," said Restu.

He added, through this festival, his party wants to present a space that connects people with works and creativity.

"+62 Coffee exists not only as a coffee brand, but a container that brings together creativity, community, and culture in a celebration that is relevant to today's generation," said Restu.

For visitors who attend, +62 Coffee has prepared various interesting facilities. One of them is a fast track lane specifically for visitors who bring +62 coffee cups.

"We have bundling tickets with Aren Latte coffee. There is also community activation such as coffee pong and open mic karaoke session. The most exciting thing is that there are interesting promotions every 6:20 pm," added Restu.

Furthermore, Restu leaked that there will be a new concept launch of +62 Coffee at the event. After the success of the +62 Space, Space Plus, and Mula concepts, they are ready to introduce a new identity on the R-I Fest 2026 stage.
