More intimate, Assia Keva embraces the listener in forevermore, but it's just me and piano

October last year, Assia Keva released her mini album titled Forevermore. In the first quarter of 2026, this singer and songwriter from Bali presented three songs from the release in a live piano format.

The three stripped-down songs are Baby July, Can We Be Friends Again?, and Looking for Love in Wrong Places. The songs are packaged as one entity of a new mini album titled forevermore, but it's just me and piano.

Assia Keva presents the three tracks with Kevin Suwandhi and was recorded live at DeBeat Music Studio, Bali, with a simple approach that emphasizes Assia's vocals and piano. Assia explained that her desire to choose these three tracks in a minimalist format came from the need to present the emotions of the song more closely.

"I grew up singing acoustically, so making this piano version was a very personal choice for me. It's kind of my way back to the roots, to the way of singing that I love the most in this world," Assia Keva said in a written statement.

"I hope people can feel that love too. By simplifying everything and only leaving my vocals and piano, listeners have space to listen to the melody and lyrics more clearly," he added.

Intimacy also feels stronger with the presence of this new format. On the other hand, it also feels lighter and easier to connect emotionally.

The video format is forevermore, but it's just me and piano can be listened to through the Assia Keva YouTube channel. Meanwhile, the digital version is already available on various music streaming services
