Pink Undergoes Surgery on New Year's Eve, Starts the Year with Two New Discs on the Neck

JAKARTA - Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, better known by the stage name Pink, started her 2026 with a shocking news. Through a personal upload on Instagram, the singer of "What About Us" revealed that she had just undergone a neck surgery on New Year's Eve.

Pink explained that she had to spend New Year's Eve in the hospital to undergo a medical procedure to install two new discs in her neck.

This action was taken as an effort to improve his physical condition after years of giving energetic and acrobatic stage performances.

"And I'm ending this year by respecting, paying attention to, and improving my body," Pink wrote, quoting the caption of the upload, Sunday, January 4.

"Maybe not a fancy face-lift, but I'm going to get two shiny new discs on my neck," he continued. "A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for the best."

For him, 2025 is a period full of dynamics, which he describes as a series of events, ranging from very devastating to slightly disturbing.

Even so, he is still grateful for all the beauty that happened in the midst of the chaos, especially his role as a mother who helps her children pursue their dreams.

The 46-year-old singer-songwriter also expressed his determination to leave all the pain in 2025 and welcome the new year with high optimism.

"I know that 2026 will be better because that's the choice I've made," he added.

Pink's health has been in the spotlight in recent times. In 2024, he had to postpone a number of concert series in the United States for reasons beyond his control, following the cancellation of another show by order of a doctor due to unspecified health problems.

Throughout 2025, Pink is likely to withdraw from the public eye, performing only four shows, including a FireAid charity concert to help victims of forest fires in California.

Now, with a "new disc" around her neck, Pink promises to continue to seek light in the darkness and reclaim her wild side. She closes her message with a spirit for the new year.

"I will choose positive thoughts over negative thoughts. And I will fight against the death of light. I will reclaim my lyrical side. And I will continue to search for light, even when I experience darkness," he concluded.
