JAKARTA - Rapper Drake received the Artist of the Decade award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held Sunday, May 23, U.S. time.

After his family and friends mentioned Drake's name, he walked on stage with his son, Adonis. In his speech, Drake revealed flaws in the music he made.

"Even if I did a good job, I always imagined if I could do it better. I rarely celebrate anything," Drake said.

Furthermore, Drake doesn't want to give a message on how to make that music. "I don't want to give a speech on how to do it because you know, to be honest I don't understand either."

Shortly after the show finished, Drake uploaded several photos on his Instagram Story. One of them, Adonis, holds a Billboard trophy and stands next to the musician.

Drake received a number of Billboard Music Awards 2021 nominations, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artists, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top Rap Artist.

In addition to Artist of the Decade, Drake also received the Top Streaming Songs Artist award.

Drake released the album Scary Hours 2 EP last March. However, he still delayed the release of certified lover boy album.
