JAKARTA - Dipha Barus came as an invitation after receiving two nominations at the peak of the 2025 Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards which took place at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, November 19.

The 39-year-old jockey was nominated with Jinan Laetitia for the song BATARA in the category of Best Solo/Group/Collaboration Dance. He was also nominated with Kunto Aji and The Adams for the song Rima Raga in the category of Best Alternative Duo/Group/Collaboration.

For his collaboration with Jinan, Dipha must accept the fact that Bleu Clair and Jevin Julian brought home the winning trophy.

However, without any expectations at all Dipha actually won through his collaboration with Kunto Aji and The Adams.

"I really didn't expect to, win for the song Rima Raga, song with Kunto Aji and The Adams, whose guitar was assisted by Mas Welo," said Dipha, met after receiving the award.

Dipha said that his presence at the peak night of the 2025 AMI Awards was more about wanting to stay in touch with other musicians who received nominations.

But in reality, he managed to go home with a winning trophy in hand.

"I came here late, then after that I wanted to meet and stay with other musicians," he said. "Then after that when I just entered, the category was announced and won. So, I still didn't think so. "

Another highlight was also obtained by Dipha, who wore a Palestinian flag pin pinned on the collar of his jacket. He said the pin was a form of support for humanity in Palestine.

"This is a special symbol, if I am on the side of humanity and I am always by the side of the Palestinian people," he concluded.
