HyunA Apologizes After Fainting on Stage at Waterbomb Macau 2025

JAKARTA - Singer HyunA issued an apology to fans after fainting during her performance at the Waterbomb festival in Macau on Sunday, October 9th.

HyunA appeared to faint while singing her song "Bubble Pop" on stage. After fainting, backup dancers immediately ran to wake her, and she was carried away by security.

Neither her agency nor the organizers issued a statement or revealed the reason for HyunA's fainting. However, many speculated that it was related to the singer's extreme dieting.

Last week, HyunA claimed to have lost 10 kg by photographing her weighing scale.

Meanwhile, HyunA issued an apology to fans for fainting during her performance.

"I'm truly sorry. Although my performance was short, I wanted to put on my best performance, but I didn't feel professional, and I honestly don't remember anything," HyunA wrote.

"After some thought, I want to explain. Many Macau fans came, including A-ings (HyunA's fanbase), and everyone paid money to watch, so I feel guilty and apologize," she continued.

HyunA further explained that she would strive to perform better. Her current condition is better than before.

“I’m trying to build up my stamina and work consistently going forward. It would be amazing if everything goes as I wish, but I’ll try,” she said.

“I want to thank you for loving me since I was young, despite my shortcomings. And I’m perfectly fine! Don’t worry about me! I hope everyone is resting well,” HyunA continued.
