Erwin Gutawa Orchestra Will Present Indonesian Viral Songs At Symphonesia Concert

JAKARTA - Erwin Gutawa Orchestra (EGO) through a series of Symphonesia concerts, again presents an interesting concept for Indonesian music lovers.

The seventh edition of Symphonesia will have the theme Viral: 100% Indonesian Music', held at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta on December 9.

This show will perform viral Indonesian songs. This concept was chosen because of its relevance to current conditions, where the presence of the internet and social media platforms has drastically changed the map of domestic music competition.

This allows the work of any musician to spread quickly and give birth to the diversity of genres and new talents from all over the country.

Erwin Gutawa Orchestra sees this viral moment is not just a short trend, but a structural change that should be celebrated majestically and appreciated.

One of the main attractions anticipated is the special performance of Bara Suara, which has recently gained popularity among new listeners after their song, Fund in Time, becoming the soundtrack of the film Sore: Wife of the Future.

The Symphonesia concert this time will also be a reunion stage, where Bara Suara and Erwin Gutawa will meet and share the stage for the first time after the two collaborated on orchestration arrangements for the viral song.

Apart from Barasuara, the Symphonesia stage will be enlivened by Adrian Khalif, who is known to be good at collaborating in digital hits such as "Alamak" with Rizky Febian and "cheating" with Juicy Lucy.

The presence of two young special voice talents, Barsena Bestandhi and Rahmania Astrini, is also certain to bring various other digital anthems that have dominated the timeline.
