StarBe Reshuffles Coreography And Music Becomes More Koplo For KOPLING 2025

JAKARTA - The 2025 Koplo Keliling Festival (KOPLING) will be enlivened by a number of today's pop musicians, one of which is StarBe, a girl group that carries modern references.

StarBe members, Abelle, Shella, Kezia, and Chelsea, admitted that they had prepared special training to adjust their vocals and choreography for this festival. There will be a koplo touch that StarBe has never shown so far.

"We have already practiced the 'flow' and of course there are choreography that has been changed to match the replica song," Abelle said while attending a press conference "Festival Kopling 2025" at the SMESCO building in Jakarta, citing ANTARA on Thursday 9 October.

There will be several mainstay songs from StarBe that are ready to be made more compact, such as 1 Cinta 2 Dunia. The soundtrack for the tanggu Jinny series was transformed into a Koplo arrangement and a clove that became the hallmark of the genre.

The choreography of the song was made independently by StarBe members. They are ready to answer the challenge to give visitors a memorable stage action.

Apart from StarBe, the 2025 Kopling Festival will also feature various well-known musicians and music groups in the country, including Danilla Riyadi, The Changcuters, Drive, For Revenge, Aldi Taher, Mario and Marco Silitonga and many more.

Program Director of Kopling 2025 Jahja Immanuel Rianto (Opa Jahja) said his party was trying to design a festival to encourage artists to innovate and experiment with koplo music, while respecting the uniqueness of each work.

"For example, we convey a plan to use certain gaming treatments, such as transitions between songs or dances so that they can be accepted by koplo," said Jahja.
