JAKARTA - GIGI teamed up with JUNI Records in the release of their 25th album titled Forever In The Air. This collaboration is a new experience as well as a challenge for Armand Maulana Cs.
Adryanto Pratono, CEO of JUNI Records revealed the reasons behind the cooperation. Apart from knowing him for a long time, he sees GIGI as an independent band hit by the times.
"If you know them it's been a long time, maybe it's 20 years. Why is GIGI, because they are a relevant band without the impression of being familiarized," said the man who is familiarly called Boim during the launch of Forever In The Air, October 8 at Sona Space, Senayan Park Jakarta.
Armand Maulana et al themselves admit that this collaboration has helped encourage GIGI to adapt and understand the current music industry 'how to play'.
"Interestingly when we were collided with the JUNI team which was not as old as the GIGI band. So we were also deleted to make video of everything, which we might not have thought before," said Armand and Thomas.

To get closer to the younger generation, GIGI and JUNI Records will hold a showcase at Krapela Row 9 Blok M, Jakarta on October 10. With a more agile stage scale, the 31-year-old band will travel to Gen-Z headquarters with the latest material.
"So remember when GIGI first performed in the Blok M area, the capacity was 150-2000 people, but those who watched 50 people, all of them were Potlot children," recalled Armand Maulana.
