Natasya Elvira Represents Young Jazz Musicians At Line Up JakJazz 2025

JAKARTA - Natasya Elvira will be one of the performers at the iconic Jakarta International Jazz Festival (JakJazz) 2025. This event itself will take place at Senayan Park on December 20.

In accordance with the theme "Respecting the Legacy, Empowering the Youth", Natasya represents one of the names of young jazz musicians known to the current generation.

"He sings only jazz, there is a younger generation represented than that, and he learns from Nesia Ardi, one of Nesia Ardi's students on her way," said Tommy at the "JakJazz Intimate Media Lunch 2025" event in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, citing ANTARA on Wednesday, September 25.

Natasya Elvira is known as a vocalist who has studied jazz music and has produced several works, including a number of singles and an album. He is also a member of the Societeit de Harmonie group which has a strong existence on social media.

However, for his appearance at JakJazz 2025 later, Natasya will appear individually. "There is no group name here, so there is no appearance group name," added Tommy.

The decision to present Natasya Elvira is in line with JakJazz 2025's vision to prioritize local musicians.

Tommy Maulana emphasized that this festival aims to appreciate and empower unique talents from within the country.

The presence of Natasya Elvira is expected to be an inspiration for other young people to work in music, especially the jazz genre.

JakJazz 2025 will be held at Senayan Park, and apart from Natasya, there will be collaboration between senior and junior musicians, as well as the presence of a number of international musicians such as Motoharu from Japan and one musician from the United States.
