Muse Praises Jakarta Spectators Who Sing Throughout The Concert

JAKARTA - Muse has completed his second visit to Indonesia through a concert titled Muse Live in Jakarta which was held at Carnaval Ancol on Friday, September 19, 2025, WIB night.

The concert was successfully held with thousands of spectators who came and were divided into three categories of ticket holders. That night, Muse performed a total of 22 songs for approximately one and a half hours.

Matt Bellamy (principal vocals, guitar, keyboard), Chris Wolstenholme (bas, vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums) performed without any games. They seem to be focused on bringing each number without the need to talk a lot during the break between songs.

Throughout the performance, only two sentences were practically thrown by Bellamy while greeting the audience, "thank you" and "good night".

However, towards the end, Dominic Howard had expressed his admiration for the audience present. He was happy to see fans singing in every song he performed.

"Thank you Indonesia. It's been a long time since we last came here. You sing very well," said Howard.

He also promised that Muse would return to visit Indonesia in the future.

"See you again on another occasion," he said.

Meanwhile, the show opened with Unraveling, a new Muse single released last June. The guitar distortion, tearing of the bass, drumTING, and keyboard strings combined into breaking the night.

Not long after, the audience was hysterically made when Wolstenholme played the iconic intro Hysteria. Those who heard were immediately paralyzed, shouted and sang along.

Another number also received a good response from the audience who attended. They also sang along when Muse brought Stockholm Syndrome, Unintended, Madness, Time is Running Out, Supermassive Black Hole, to Starlight which was the closing number.

In the last song, fireworks are presented as a sign of the peak of the excitement of the event. Most of the spectators who attended also opened gadgets and captured the moment.

For information, the Muse concert in Jakarta this time and the Foo Fighters: Live in Jakarta concert on October 2, 2025 was held by Ravel Entertainment as the promoter, as an unseparated part to welcome Hammersonic's 10th anniversary celebration.

The Hammersonic Festival will be held at the Jakarta NICE PIK on May 2 and 3, 2026.
