JAKARTA - Disjoki and well-known electronic music producer Illenium are ready to shake up the world music scene with the announcement of the inauguration in Sphere Las Vegas. The show titled "Odyssey" is scheduled to start in 2026.
Through uploads on social media, Illenium, whose real name is Nicholas D. Miller, shared a poster featuring a show scheme on the iconic venue.
"Very excited to announce that I will be a residential artist at Sphere Las Vegas in 2026," Illenium wrote, citing an upload caption, Thursday, September 18.
"This is a show I've been working on over the last three years and it's going to be the biggest thing I've ever done," he added.
The "Odyssey" show is touted as a multisensory immersive experience that will combine stunning 360-degree visual elements with Illenium's signature music.
"The concept is an immersive space opera that will focus on the journey of a hero, which is interpreted in an amazing form of audio and visuals," he said.

In addition to the announcement of the inauguration, Illenium also gave other good news to its fans. He said a new album was being worked on.
"I'm working on a new album that will be released before the show on Sphere starts," he said.
This project is a step forward for Illenium after the success of the double album "ILLENIUM" which was released in April 2023. The album features collaborations with well-known musicians such as Skylar Gray, Teddy Swims, and Travis Barker.
According to Illenium, the idea for a re-idential in Sphere has been around for a long time, long before the venue opened.
