Label Breaks Collaboration With Sweet Harum Vocalist Allegedly Pedophilia

JAKARTA - Lamunai Records cut off cooperation with the band Harum Manis. This is related to allegations of harassment and pedophilia that dragged their vocalist, Sulthon Kamil.

Label announced the news through social media uploads. As of September 10, the cooperative relationship officially ended.

"Lamunai Records expressed solidarity and support for victims in the harassment case involving the suspect Sulthon Kamil from Harum Manis. We also emphasize that the involvement of other parties in Harum Manis' work and copyright is outside the scope of cooperation with Lamunai Records. With this decision, Harum Manis is no longer part of Lamunai Records," wrote the label via Instagram upload, September 10.

This step is the label's commitment to support the investigation of cases that are currently busy in cyberspace. They also claimed to have terminated the contract according to the procedure for this.

"We are very concerned and regret the situation, while at the same time hoping that the affected victims will get the best support and recovery," said the label.

In the midst of his name that began to rise, Harum Manis' success had to be hampered by the actions of their own vocalists. Several victims have opened their voices on platform X regarding allegations of harassment, grooming and pedophilia.
