INDAHKUS Introduces Single Collaboration With Chinese Musicians Titled Heaven

JAKARTA - INDAHKUS introduced his new single entitled Heaven. His first song in 2025 was presented in collaboration with musician from China, Yiduo Lan alias EDUO.

Heaven is not talking about angels, but tells a safe and comfortable place for the right person, about being a small paradise in a chaotic world, and about being a woman who knows what she brings.

"I'm really beautiful, I'm not looking for a drama, it's enough for a guy who is gentle, pure, makes it safe, calm. Have you tried it first, try to close me 'spects of heaven like this, isn't anyone close?" said INDAHKUS when describing his new song, through a written statement, Thursday, August 28.

Produced by the Los Angeles-based EDUO, Heaven presents a blend of soft hip-hop beats, sensual R&B nuances, and Y2K tones that are felt from sound to visual.

This song is like a time capsule reminiscent of an era when love feels mysterious, full of vibrations, and is quite tunable from the MP3 player in the pocket of jeans.

In an intimate and universal narrative, this song contains lyrics that combine three languages, namely Indonesia, England, and Mandarin.

Behind the turbulent and gentle rhythm, "Heaven" conveys a strong message: that true love is not about perfection, but about honesty, comfort, and wanting to have each other without having to change yourself.

"This song is not only about love, but also about claims of identity being a woman who is no longer busy adapting, but simply says: This is who I am, take it or leave it, said the singer who had participated in the talent search event in China.

Visual "Heaven" is designed with a touch of chromatic silver, semi-futuristic, and Y2K girl power which features the figure of INDAHKUS as the main character who is elegant and at the same time full of control "no longer waiting to be picked up, but in his own control.

Through this narrative, the 'Heaven' in question is not a place, it feels like when we are with someone who makes us calm, safe, and doesn't need to be anyone else.
