JAKARTA - Two singers who have strong vocal characters, Bilal Indrajaya and Eva Celia, collaborated in a sweet song entitled Rangga Cinta. The song is the soundtrack for the latest film by Miles Films with a similar title.

In this song Miles Films collaborates with Trinity Optima Production, Melly Goeslaw & Anto Hoed, and Aquarius Mustika bistaka. Through Eva and Bilal's melodious voice, this song marks the return of the universe of the legendary story "What's with Love?" which is now presented through a film with a thick and colorful music feel with a new title, Rangga & Cinta.

The film Rangga & Cinta, directed by Riri Riza and produced by Mira Lesmana with Nicholas Saputra, is a remake of the 2002 iconic film. Many say this film is one of the best romances in Indonesian cinemas.

Single ini menjadi pembuka jalan menuju perilisan album penuh yang akan rilis mendekat jadwal tayang film, dan diharapkan mampu kembali menghadirkan momen iconik yang telah menjadi khas OST AADC.

Mira Lesmana revealed that the birth process of this song started with an idea in the middle of shooting. The point of view of the lyrics is made younger, adjusting the background of the film.

Khas dunia AADC itu theme song duet-nya. Kali ini karena dunianya sangat remaja, kami mencari musikan muda juga, ungkap Mira Lesmana dalam siaran tertulis, 22 Agustus. Melly sempat kiri dua lagu dan akhirnya Rangga Cinta ini kita pilih sebagai theme song. Liriknya kami develop bersama sampai akhirnya jadi, lanjutnya.

Bilal Indrajaya felt that this project was a very memorable experience for him. He is happy to be collaborating with the names he admires.

"This is my first time in a project with Eva Celia and also involved with Mbak Melly and Mbak Mira," he said.

Bilal didn't even feel the pressure because since childhood he had watched the film AADC even though at that time he was still in elementary school.

"So, this is a very pleasant experience," said Bilal. This is also felt by Eva Celia who admits that she really enjoys the process of making this single. Because I am also a lover of his previous AADC film, I feel very honored now that it can be a part of history to fill the soundtrack for the film Rangga & Cinta, "he said.

Through an emotional arrangement, the theme song Rangga Cinta combines a nostalgic feel for a generation that grows with AADC, as well as provides a fresh touch for new listeners. Eva Celia and Bilal Indrajaya's vocal collaboration is expected to be a link between two generations of connoisseurs of the story of Rangga & Cinta. The film Rangga & Cinta will premiere on October 2, 2025.
