JAKARTA - Maliq & D Essentials again greeted Indonesian music lovers by releasing a new single entitled Jalan, Pulang. This time Ilman (keyboards), Indah (vocals), and Widi (drums) together were listed as songwriters.

Jalan, Pulang tells about the struggle for every soul who goes to work, solely for good news who is brought home for loved ones at home.

"His aspirations are from what I experience and feel as a worker, as a parent, and as a child," said Widi in his statement, Friday, July 25.

"Just a modest feeling, without much consideration, that's the taste I want to share, this is one of my most innocent writings," added Widi.

In writing the song, the drummer tells that the process is very organic and fairly fast. This song, he said, was created without a plan right after they finished performing.

Which makes the release of Jalan, Pulang special, Maliq presents four different versions of 'orisinal, instrumental, acapella, and demo' which can all be heard on digital music platforms.

"We feel this song is very emotional. All versions have a different touch of taste, that's why we want listeners to feel the first feeling of emotion when listening to demonstrations or deep feelings needed when they only want to hear a series of words without music or emotional feelings from the music itself to accompany listeners who want to sing and imagine themselves with a series of emotions and feelings that exist from this song. ," said Barry Maheswara, A&R Director of Warner Music Indonesia.

In addition, Maliq also invites people with stories that have strong slices with the meaning Jalan, Pulang. Some of them are Violenzia totaling, Babeh Ojol, Habib Ja'far, Tyna Dwi Jayanti, Sal Priadi, Bilal Indrajaya, Reza Chandika, and Faris Hasyim & Sophia Al Jufri.
