JAKARTA - Ghost frontman Tobias Forge expressed his disapproval of the famous statement from Kiss vocalist and bassist Gene Simmons, who said rock music was dead.

In response to Simmons, Tobias Forge in a recent interview with Consequence expressed his defense of young musicians, who are said to have the ability and can be the main performers of rock music festivals.
"I think Gene Simmons says it the most often, but I mean, many people say that rock 'n' roll is dead and there won't be a new lead," said Forge.
"I understand that the main performers are rare, but I think with the loss of a lot of bands I like 'Smell one' I'm sure over time there will be more bands (major rock performers)," he added.
Forge said that many bands can be relatively new but have reached the peak of popularity.
