The Appearance Of Morgan Oey In The One Decade Celebration Of SMASH

JAKARTA - A decade has passed by SMASH, a boy band from Indonesia. The celebration was greeted by fans called Smashblast. Those who have just returned to music as a group celebrate ten years together by inviting Morgan, a former member who left in 2013.

In the video uploaded on Instagram, SMASH sings the song I Heart You, their debut song in the music industry. Singing from different places, the members still sang the song together, especially Morgan, who had not been seen with the SMASH members for a long time.

The appearance of Morgan in the video made Smashblast and SMASH members both surprised and happy. Morgan's name immediately hit the trending topic after the video was released. Morgan's uploads on Instagram were also greeted with great fanfare by fellow public figures and fans.

On the other hand, Rangga's absence from the video was questioned by many fans. It is known that Rangga has a contract with another party so that he cannot do group activities indefinitely.

SMASH or Seven Man as Seven Heroes is a boy band formed in 2010. The members consist of Morgan, Rangga, Rafael, Bisma, Reza, Ilham, and Dicky, the seven members debuted with the song I Heart You.

They are present in the midst of many Malay pop bands that are selling well in the market. Their appearance is of public concern. SMASH released the albums "SM * SH" in 2011 and "Step Forward" in 2012.

In 2013, Morgan decided to leave the group and start a career as an actor. His name has graced many films such as Ngenest, Sweet 20, and most recently Eggnoid: Love & Time Portal.

Being a pioneer boyband in Indonesia for SMASH is not easy. But in fact the longing for this group is always felt real with the many requests for SMASH to return to music together.

In 2018, SMASH returned with the release of the single song Fenomena. Currently, the music video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times. After that they released a song called Stop Hoping which is a song belonging to Sheila on 7.

Opening 2020, SMASH with Oom Leo or Narpati Awangga from Goodnight Electric collaborated to release the song Jadi Milikku. Then, SMASH promoted as five people, minus Rangga. Currently, all SMASH songs can be listened to through music streaming services.
