JAKARTA - The Korean OST Concert (KOSTCON) as a concert entirely dedicated to the original soundtrack (OST) of Korean dramas, chose Jakarta as the starting point for its global travel series.
The concert, which was held in collaboration with the Kelebrity Worldwide, HiFive Entertainment, TMC Indonesia, and KMF, brought the theme The Most Drama Concert in the World held at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Central Jakarta on August 2.
As previously informed, KOSTCON Jakarta will feature a series of top South Korean singers known for their songs to become Korean drama OSTs, such as Lyn, Kim Bum Soo, K Will, Chen EXO, Soyou, Heize, and Lee Mujin.
David Shin, CEO of Kelebrity Worldwide as the initiator of KOSTCON, said that choosing Jakarta as the starting point could not be separated from the enthusiasm and love of his people for Korean dramas.
"Jakarta is the opening city because of the extraordinary love of fans in Indonesia for the soundtrack of the drama, both on streaming and community platforms," David Shin said at a press conference in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 9.
"Through KOSTCON, we want to create a moment where the audience feels like they are in their favorite drama story," he continued.
Meanwhile, TMC Indonesia as a local promoter involved in this event stated, KOSTCON as a show that was able to bridge two different cultures.
