Sule's Jenaka Social Criticism Present In The Music Video Hey You

JAKARTA - DH Production introduced an official music video from Sule entitled Hey Kamu. This is a continuation of the release of singles and lyric videos that have been released previously.

This music video is directed by Fery Hudaya, the boss of DH Production who is also the author of the song Hey Kamu. Kelab Malam was chosen as a set to feature Sule and several other cast.

Opened by showing Sule's character in an eccentric style, the audience will be taken to see visuals that are eye catching, not boring, and flow according to the rhythm of the song.

In this case, Fery Hudaya wants the visuals displayed to be in line with the lyrics of the song "Hey You" which sounds nosy, naughty and humorous, but is actually full of criticism for Indonesia's current social conditions, which often present corrupt, manipulative, and sweet promises made to pursue the throne and wealth.

Fery Hudaya did make songs and music videos to connect with the behavior of many Indonesians today. However, he did not want the criticism to be conveyed vulgarly.

"This song is indeed inspired by social phenomena around us, from human behavior that pursue wealth but justify all means, do not want to work hard on the halal road," said Fery.

At the same time, Sule as the singer and main star in this music video is also felt to have succeeded in conveying a message to those who want shortcuts in pursuing the pleasure of humanity in a humorous way.

"Why don't you want wealth to work / want money using the julid / want to be rich, why lie here / sell faces, sell promises, sell dreams," reads the lyrics of the song.
