JAKARTA - The pop-rock band from England, The 1975 will be the main performer at the Glastonbury Festival, which will be held on June 25-29. But that performance will be the only stage for this year'stanch.

The news was confirmed by the manager, Jamie Oborn when he was a guest on The Money Trench's podcast last week and discussed preparations for The 1975 appearance in Glastonbury.

Oborne said Glastonbury was the only music event The 1975 will attend if fans want to see them.

"It's a huge concert, and it's the only show we're going to play this year," Oborne said.

"(Matyia) thinking of doing it separately would be a great thing. I clearly agree with him, as I often do," he continued.

The manager also discussed The new era of The 1975 after the hiatus of returning to the stage, changing the band logo and social media profile.

Furthermore, Oborne shared a follow-up to the album's Being Funny In A Foreign Language' which is recognized to be under construction since 2022.

"They are currently making the recording. I don't know when it will be released, but they are making it," he said. "it's been an incredible recording."

"I think they have the right not to rush. The world will listen, so it must be true," concluded the manager.
