Mutia Ayu Opens To Those Who Want To Use IP Glenn Fredly Through Management Permit

JAKARTA - Mutia Ayu was also proud when Soundsfest 2025 shared her memory of her late husband's legacy, which was featured in a show with the title Glenn Fredly Live by The Bakuucakar: Holographic Performance.

The 30-year-old singer said Soundsfest was the first music festival to bring Glenn Fredly's hologram show back on stage, after Glenn Fredly's 25-year concert in 2023.

Mutia admitted that she is very open if there are parties who want to use inheritance or intellectual property (IP) such as holograms displayed on Soundsfest. However, its use must go through permission to the management.

"Actually, for this hologram, anyone can use it and can contact management. For me personally, of course IP regarding Glenn, everything through management, definitely with my permission," said Mutia when met behind the Soundsfest stage which was held at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Friday, May 23.

Not only for holograms, Mutia admitted that she was open to all IP related to Glenn Fredly.

"When it comes to IP, it's not just a concert, anything about Glenn, whether it's a photo, a song, so it depends on the request, it's not just a certain concert," he said.

Mutia also appeared on stage that night. He had a duet with Glenn Fredly's hologram accompanied by The Bakuucakar to bring 'That's All'.

"Actually, the song That's all" will be released in 2021. That's my anniversary song with Glenn, and the first song was a duet with Glenn," said Mutia Ayu.

This is the first time at a festival. But this is also the second time, because the first was at the 25-year Glenn concert. So, this is the second time with the hologram," he said.
