JAKARTA - Three former KOTAK personnel Posan Tobing, Icez, and Julie Angel (Pare) plan to take cassation steps, after the Sleman District Court and the Yogyakarta High Court rejected their lawsuit against the current KOTAK guitarist, Cella.

Meanwhile, the first lawsuit was filed by three former KOTAK personnel to the Sleman District Court on November 14, 2024 with case number 265 / Pdt.G / 2024 / PN Smn.

The lawsuit concerns Cella, who is said to have defaulted on the registration of KOTAK's name in 2022.

Posan felt that Cella '''s move with Tantri and Chua who registered KOTAK's name with HAKI without involving herself and Icez and Julie Angel as initial personnel was a mistake.

"So don't, 'WE ARE BOXES'. Meanwhile, the founders or the founders of KOTAK, Pare and Icez, don't know beforehand why the name suddenly appeared at HAKI, and it has been registered," Posan Tobing told the media crew in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, May 21.

Not wanting to stop until the appeal stage at the Yogyakarta High Court, Posan stated that his party would take further legal steps. He hopes that the cassation at the Supreme Court can grant his lawsuit.

"Well, hopefully later at the Supreme Court, because we will file an appeal. So, it has not been signed," said Minola Sebayang as the attorney for three former KOTAK personnel.

"We will file an appeal, our calculation is the deadline until May 28. Once we file an appeal, we will send a memorandum of cassation," concluded Minola.
