JAKARTA - It has been six years since Chris Adler left Lamb Of God. As one of the band's founders, he officially left in 2019, after a motorcycle accident that broke his right spine and shoulder.

Asked about Adler's possible return to Lamb Of God, considering he was the initial member when the band was formed in 1994, the 52-year-old drummer said the idea was not good for both sides.

"Will I do it again? Oh my goodness. I don't know if I'm going to do it. It feels like, will you be dating your ex-wife who you still want? And I don't think it's a good idea for both of us," Chris Adler said in a recent interview with Scott Penfold from Loaded Radio.

He admits that there are so many memories and achievements shared with Lamb Of God. However, he didn't feel he could really return to the band.

"I will take memories and plaques and Grammys that I can show my parents or whatever. And we'll forget about it (ides to return to Lamb Of God," added the drummer.

Meanwhile, Adler's position in Lamb Of God was replaced by Art Cruz, who previously played for Prong and Winds Of Plague.

Adler himself was involved in seven studio albums released by Lamb Of God, with the first 'New American Gospel' released from 2000 to VII: Sturm und Draw' released in 2015.

Furthermore, drummers who have played for Megadeth, Nitro, Bloted Science, and Protest The Hero, also talked about the conditions that forced him to leave Lamb Of God.

"If anyone knew Lamb Of God from the start, I think they knew that I really contributed to the band. The first exercise was held at my house. I chose members and worked hard for myself and for them all the time. So, it really became my identity. It was very personal as before," he said.
