Don't Worry About The Dispute Of Music Royalty, Sammy Simorangkir Still Releases New Album

JAKARTA - Sammy Simorangkir has released two songs in collaboration with Ade Govinda as songwriter, While Having Time and A wide wound. In the near future, the former Kerispatih vocalist will also launch a new album.

For Sammy, this latest release is interpreted as a long breath. Although not a young song for the singer size he wants to continue issuing new works.

"The work is a long breath for me physically and careerally that I did work and released this album for all loyal listeners, who have been listening to my voice," Sammu said when met in Kemang, South Jakarta recently.

Although some singers expressed anxiety in releasing new works amid the chaos about permission to perform songs and music royalties, Sammy didn't want to bother.

The 42-year-old singer did not want problems in the music industry to actually prevent her from issuing new works.

I covered my left ear and right ear. Because I thought singing and issuing the work was my passion. Just like people who engage in sports, told to stop exercising, it hurts. So that's me," said Sammy.

"I don't want to care about what's going on out there, I just stick to the laws that have been regulated by the state, and I just walk away," he added.

Furthermore, Sammy ensured that there was no too complicated agreement between himself as a singer and Ade as a songwriter. All cooperation is based on the intention to give a good work to hear.

"We are returning to our original intention, that we are making this work increasing and launching a work not only for us, but indeed for everyone, for everyone, not in terms of ethnicity, do not look at religion, do not see anything. Anyway, we launched a work for everything, "said Sammy.

"Everything has been arranged in a good and elegant way by the state. So in my opinion, Ade and I have good intentions, clean intentions, we don't want to try people. So we just do it," he said.
