Label Says Regarding The Royalty Of The Late Music Titiek Puspa

JAKARTA - Indrawati Widjaja, executive producer and owner of music label Musica Studios, spoke about the sustainability of economic rights from works written by Titiek Puspa.

As is known, Titiek Puspa passed away on April 10. That way, the economic rights in the form of royalties from his works will be accepted by the heirs of copyright holders for the next 70 years.

Acin said the late Titiek Puspa had long collaborated with the Musica Publisher to manage royalties. In the future, this cooperation will continue.

"Eyang (Titiek Puspa) has been in Musica Publisher for a long time. I think it's been 10 or 15 years," said Acin when met in Melawai, South Jakarta recently.

That way, some of Titiek Puspa's royalties will be managed by Musica Publisher, before being given to the heirs of copyright holders. In addition, other royalties will be managed by Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI).

Acin said that the cooperation with the late Titiek Puspa always went well. Moreover, the relationship between the two is not only based on business matters, but also close family values.

"So, we are now carrying out what has been done, which is what Grandmother wants. The decrease for 10 to 15 years is not new. If it is uncomfortable, uncomfortable, or unsuitable, it can't be that long (cooperation)," said Acin.
