Dira Sugandi is confirmed to be involved again in the Java Jazz Festival (JJF) which this year celebrates the 20th edition of the fund to be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on May 30 - June 1.
For Dira, JJF is a special music festival, not only for those who enjoy jazz, but also for all those involved in it.
"I think Java Jazz is a special festival. Because in my opinion, Java Jazz is 360 experience for everyone, not just for performance, but for those who come to watch, organizers, vendors, to their sponsors," said Dira when contacted by VOI, Monday, March 7.
"I really know, people come to Java Jazz not only to watch performance, but they come for the whole experience, with that to-chaos," he continued.
The Sundanese singer said that his extended family was even enthusiastic about welcoming JJF's title. The reason is, this festival has also become an interesting event for across generations.
"I feel Java Jazz is rich in jazz, like Lebaran jazz, what people are waiting for every year," said Dira. So it's true that Java Jazz is said to be a party for everyone.
Talking about his involvement this year, Dira said, there were special performances that had been prepared with other Indonesian musicians. In addition, he will also appear in the concept of a solo performance with his own theme.
This year, we will do something special for sure. I will be involved in a special project with several local musicians. Of course we will present something very different, because this is the 20th year (JJF)," said Dira.
