Three Points Of Clarification Of Nadin Amizah Who Admitted He Had Participated In The Talent Search Event

JAKARTA - Nadin Amizah is back in the spotlight after a video of him claiming to regret participating in a talent search event, circulated widely on social media recently.

In the video, Nadin criticizes how he gets treatment when participating in a talent search event, saying that he is asked to perform songs and dress up that he doesn't like.

The 24-year-old singer even hopes not to come out as the winner of where she is in third position because she feels forced to embarrass herself.

With confidence, if time could be rotated in the past, Nadin stated that he would not participate in talent search events. He chose to remain a cover singer from his room.

This statement reaped various responses, and many considered Nadin to be arrogant by what was conveyed. Through his TikTok account, the singer of Bertut provides clarification.

"There are three main points that make me very confident to say that I regret participating in the talent search event. And if it has to happen again, I will not want to join again," said Nadin, quoting his statement on TikTok, Saturday, April 5.

In the first point, Nadin discussed the comments of netizens who stated that he had become famous after participating in a talent search event. For this reason, he firmly rejected it.

"No, no more. Very sorry. But I'm sure more people know me from the time I covered up songs. Then maybe from my time (collaboration) with Bang Dipha Barus," said Nadin.

He said the involvement in the event even became a dark period for him. "In fact, I was invited to the talent search event because at that time I had thousands of followers (social media). Why? Because of cover-cover songs.

Pada poin kedua, Nadin juga menolak komentar warganet yang menyebut kolaborasinya dengan Dipha Barus karena keterlibatannya di ajang pencarian talent.

"No, it's wrong. You can cross-check with Bang Dipha Barus, that Bang Dipha bullied me from the time before I was at the talent search event," he said.

In fact, said Nadin, involvement in talent search events actually made his collaboration project with Dipha Barus had to be delayed for a while.

"Bang Dipha said, 'I actually prayed from the start so you didn't win.' Because yes, so that our project will run. And I'm grateful I didn't win, and our project is running," added Nadin.

At the third point, referred to as the most important point, Nadin said that his choice to become a musician was not aimed at becoming a famous person and glamour. For him, music career is an option because of his love of singing.

"I like to sing, I like music, and I want to have good enough power to create something out of my history, out of my pain, out of my sadness," said Nadin. I am a child who has a lot of complaints and sadness.

Nadin confidently said that freedom in work is far more important than being a famous singer. "That's why I said I'm sorry. Because if for example I could turn back time and I already know things like this, I would clearly say, 'Sorry, I don't need to join this show.'
