Not Even A Year Yet, Ardhito Pramono Decides To Separate From Wijaya 80

Ardhito Pramono decided to end his journey with Wijaya 80 which has not even been a year since their debut in August 2024.

The news of the release of 29-year-old singers from the group, confirmed by Menky, one of the management representatives of Ardhito and Wijaya 80.

"Yes, that's right, Mas (Ardhito left Wijaya 80)," said the Minister ofky when contacted by the media crew, Thursday, March 27.

It was stated that Ardhito had made an Instagram Story upload to announce that he had separated from Wijaya 80. However, the upload was immediately deleted.

Meanwhile, Ardhito's togetherness with Erikson Jayanto and Hezky Joe, who formed Wijaya 80, has produced several singles that led to the launch of their first extended play (EP) entitled 'jump' in February.

The EP contains six tracks, namely 'Young People', 'Old Players', 'Still There Are You', 'I Should', 'Don't Come Again/Outtakes', and 'Last Time'.

Carrying the 1989s musical style popular in Indonesia, Wijaya 80 with his songs went viral on social media.

In an interview with the media crew in Jakarta some time ago, Ardhito told how Wijaya 80 chose to carry the old music style.

"Because music always rotates, it will return to the 1980s too. And from the name Wijaya it means glory. Success in the 1980s," said Ardhito.

"In our opinion, the era of the glory of the 1980s was really crazy. The music is amazing, there are creative pop, Indonesian pop pop, pop bossanova, a lot," he concluded.
