Missing From Adrian Khalif And Juicy Luicy Will Compete With Supernova From Aespa At The Music Awards Japan

JAKARTA - Adrian Khalif and Juicy Luicy's song is one of three Indonesian songs selected to be nominated for Best Song Asia for the 2025 Japan Music Awards.

Meanwhile, two other Indonesian songs that were also nominated were One Month from Bernadya and Last Message from Lyodra.

Based on VOI's monitoring from the official website of the Music Awards Japan, the three Indonesian songs will compete with other songs from seven different regions, namely China, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Similar to Indonesia, other countries also receive three songs in this nomination.

The most prominent song in this category is the 'Supernova' from aespa. Naturally, the K-pop group consisting of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning has won global recognition.

Moreover, aespa has brought 'Supernova' in many of their appearances in Asian countries, even the world.

For information, the Music Awards Japan 2025 presents 62 categories. This event will be held in Kyoto, Japan on May 21 and 22.

Around 3,000 entries were announced, with 256 songs included in the Song of the Year category, 167 artists in the Artist of the Year category, 171 albums in the Album of the Year category, 61 artists in the New Artist of the Year category, 100 songs in the Top Global Hit category from Japan, and 24 songs in the Best Song Asia category.
