Agnez Mo Visits Ministry Of Law For Discussion Of Copyright Law

Agnez Mo visited the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia to meet and discuss with the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas today, Wednesday, February 19.

Singers who are facing a case with Ari Bias related to the Copyright Act (UUHC), said they came to find out more about the law.

"Actually, the goal (I came here) is to learn what the law really is. Because for me, because I am an Indonesian citizen, I want to obey the law," said Agnez.

The 38-year-old singer said the decision of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court which sentenced her to copyright violators caused confusion.

"I stand with the law. But unfortunately, because there may be cases where my friends also know, in the end I create confusion, not only for me but also for other singers or songwriters in Indonesia," said Agnez.

"Therefore, that's why I think it's good for us to take this opportunity to study together, both sit down, both hear, and be aware of the law. Because I know, sometimes we can only hear and see the lines that are on social media, even though maybe the law is not like that," he continued.

Agnez did not meet Minister Supratman alone. Together, there are also several big names in the Indonesian music scene, such as Armand Maulana, Ariel NOAH, Bunga Citra Lestari, and Kunto Aji.
