Ari Bias's Response To The Impact Of His Case On Singer's Relations And Songwriters

JAKARTA - The decision of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court granted Ari Bias' lawsuit against Agnez Mo. This has led to pros and cons among Indonesian music people, including singers.

In this case, Ari regretted that there were still singers who defended Agnez Mo, even though the legal process had decided the 38-year-old singers as copyright violators, although they had no permanent legal force.

"I deeply regret the singer for defending a singer who has violated copyright. It should be supported according to the court's decision, that the songwriter's copyright has been violated," said Ari Bias when contacted by the media crew recently.

The decision at the Commercial Court, said Ari, should make music people support songwriters in fighting for their economic rights.

"It should be appreciated, give support. Because in this case, the court has clearly decided that there has been a copyright infringement," he said.

Ari's legal efforts through the courts were also deemed appropriate. After struggling alone for a while, he met several people who helped his struggle through legal channels.

"And that's not as staggered as it is. The songwriter's struggle is also more than almost a year and a half, and is fighting for this alone," said Ari.

"Because it didn't work, I asked for help or consulted, and finally went through legal channels. Because I couldn't get the right, I ended up getting to the legal route," he concluded.
