Kevin Aprilio Reveals Reasons Vierratale Still Lasts More Than 15 Years

JAKARTA - Kevin Aprilio conveyed five points that made Vierratale still stay in the music industry for more than 15 years since their debut on the album My First Love in 2009.

In the first point, Kevin mentioned the maturity of the personnel as the main factor that makes Vierratale still survive today.

"We are adults, we are dozens of each other, we already know each other. So, we have received advantages and disadvantages," Kevin Aprilio told the media crew at SCBD, South Jakarta some time ago.

"That's important too. Most bands are disbanded because they can't accept the shortcomings," he continued.

Then, the 34-year-old keyboardist mentioned two other points to stay with two other personnel, Widi (vocals) and Raka (guitar).

"Second, we still have the same vision and mission, more passion in music," said Kevin.

"Third, there is no reason to disband because we thank God there are so many gigs. Last year alone 150 times. So yes, we are also happy," he continued.

In the last two points, Kevin said Vierratale had become a home for his personnel. In fact, he did not rule out the possibility if the name of the band was continued by the child.

'Fourth, this can also be legislated. I have a child, later it can be Vierratale's successor too. Maybe yes, if he wants to, he can't be forced," said the keyboardist.

"Fifth, maybe it's like where we take shelter, it's like the three of us. Some think the band is just a job, if we look like a house," he concluded.
