Sivia Azizah Plans A Comeback Through This Year's New Album

JAKARTA - Sivia Azizah alias Sivia, former Blink, plans a comeback this year by releasing a new album. This will be his first release since marrying a Hardie Man in June 2022.

"God willing, I will release a new album in the near future, mid-year, God willing," said Sivia when met in Kemang, South Jakarta on Thursday, January 16.

"Yesterday, in 2020 I released my first album, then I had an EP (extended play) release, then you could say I took a break because I was married, then I had a baby," he continued.

Sivia said there will be eight new songs that will be material for the second album later. Still similar to the previous works, he is the 27-year-old singer carrying pop-soul music.

Meanwhile, the process of working on songs for the upcoming album has been done in the last two years. That way, even though he did not release new works, Sivia felt that she was not completely vacuumed from music.

"I'm not in a vacuum, but I'm still in the process of working on the album. It's different, if it's a vacuum, I don't make a work at all. Well, if I'm still pacing the studio, it's just not released yet," he said.

Furthermore, Sivia expressed her desire to sing. Her small family is currently not considered a barrier, but a new driver to continue working.

"Because that's my dream. Because of my dream to become a singer and songwriter. Indeed, from the start I was in this industry to please my heart. Because this is my passion," he said.

"So, this is not just business and work, no, but this is what I want. That's why that's what keeps me excited," he concluded.
