Ardhito Pramono Expresses His Condolences While Being A Musician

JAKARTA - Musicians are already the label attached to Ardhito Pramono. The music world has made him known by many people. However, being a musician also cannot be separated from the joys and sorrows that always accompany him.

A lot of joy and sorrow. A lot of grief, but a lot of joy too," said Ardhito in Melawai, South Jakarta recently.

Not only for things that deal directly with music, Ardhito did not show that failure in love and relationships also affected his music career.

However, failure in many ways has actually inspired him in his work.

"With everything that has been going on, failure in love, failure in relationships, disbandment in making bands, and all kinds of things, it is an inspiration for me to make the next works," he said.

Having a big name in the Indonesian music industry is also not as smooth as it is thought. The singer of Waking Up Together With You even admitted that she had been disappointed by the manager, who was a close person.

"There are so many challenges and sadness. There is also disappointment with my manager. I discussed this on an outside podcast with Iga Massardi," said Ardhito.

"There is a lot of disappointment. But because I really like music, because my passion is here, so it doesn't feel like it," he added.

Currently, Ardhito is also undergoing a music project with Wijaya 80, his band with Erikson Jayanto and Hezky Jo, who carried music from the 1980s.

He believes that with the current Indonesian music ecosystem, the color of music he and Wijaya 80 can be well received.

"Alhamdulillah, in Indonesia, there are many bands that carry vintage themes, which are not only in Jakarta. Now, vintage or old age is back to being a pop culture that is running again," he said.
