Super Diva Concert Held 2.5 Hours With 44 Repertoars Without Pause

JAKARTA - Kris Dayanti, Ruth Sahanaya, Titi DJ, Lyodra, Tiara Andini, and Ziva Magnolya ensured their readiness to appear in the Super Diva concert which will be held at the Indonesia Arena GBK, Central Jakarta on Friday, January 17.

The concert, which was promoted by the Nusantara Children's Concertium, promised the best Indonesian music treats by involving Erwin Gutawa as music director and Jay Subyakto as Art Director.

Erwin, who will lead the orchestra in the show later, said that the best songs from the six Indonesian female soloists will be performed in a way that has never been done before.

"For the number of songs, we are trying our best, so we will play 44 songs. There will be a lot of songs. Hopefully, all fans will enjoy this collaboration, because there are many songs," said Erwin, during a press conference in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Friday, January 10.

The show will run for about 2.5 hours without a break. The soloists will appear in various formats, both solo, duet, and sextet.

Of the 44 songs, there are six of them, three of them, or two. And this concert has a lot of elements of shock. So, when the audience participates in singing, suddenly they can be surprised because the music is different. Anyway, there are a lot of surprises," said Titi DJ.

Various preparations have been passed by the performers, even the six singers admitted that they had to train each other to remember the parts they played on stage.

Given that it was only a matter of days leading up to the show, they made sure that the audience would come and go home with fond memories.

"This will be a special night full of energy, excitement, and emotion on one stage," concluded Ziva Magnolya.
