Working On Solo Album In Los Angeles, Jennie Wants To Get Out Of The Comfortable Zone

JAKARTA - Jennie Kim is preparing her first album as a soloist. The cultivation process is mostly carried out in Los Angeles, United States.

The BLACKPINK group member has his own reasons for choosing LA as a place to hone creativity. According to him, the city is very inspiring.

"I learned a lot from the people [at LA]. This is a great environment, especially for people in the music field, to meet people who can inspire you. I just want to try that experience," Jennie quoted Billboard as saying, January 10.

Now starting his own label, Oddatelier, Jennie wants to continue to develop herself. A comfortable zone for him is not the best choice, at least for now.

"I was like saying, 'No, if this is your career and if this is your life, explore and learn.' I keep telling myself," he continued.

One of the new experiences requires good adaptation. Jennie did not deny that at the beginning she had difficulties in several ways.

"The first few months, in my opinion, I was the only one throwing myself out there, walking into a room filled with new people. This is a fight between me, myself and me I am not easily convinced," said Jennie.
