Character Of Vocal Centil, Manja, And Sections Become Pijey's Capital Debut In The Music Industry

JAKARTA - Putri Juficha alias Pijey debuted in the national music industry by releasing a single titled 'Death Only', written by Ticco Laksana and released under Nagaswara's music label.

Through the single 'Just Die', Pijey comes with light pop nuanced music and unique vocal color.

Satrio Pratomo, A&R Manager Nagaswara admits that the unique vocal color is Pijey's advantage. He said the soloist from Manado has a unique, spoiled, and sexy vocal character.

"Pijey is a vocal character like that. We also see market trends, the centil music is being liked again," said Satrio during a press conference in Senopati, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 11.

Like the virtual character Sabrina Carpenter, Satrio sees that vocal characters like Pijey will be liked by many people.

Satrio also mentioned that there have been several other songs prepared for Pijey, which still have a similar feel, namely centil, spoiled, and sexy.

"It's like that, what we will try to develop in the future for Pijey," said Satrio.

Pijey, who before his debut trained with Etta Herawati alias Bertha, said that this vocal character was already with him without being made up.

Instead of trying other vocal characters, Pijey feels more comfortable singing with real characters, and continues to develop them.

"Because yes, I'm comfortable like this. And if other vocal characters are tried, my character will also change," said Pijey

"I want to show the public that Pijey is a vocal character like this," he added.

Meanwhile, Dead Only reflects the toxic relationship which is often a story that is not revealed in society. The lyrics tell the story of a woman who firmly chooses happiness rather than survive in a relationship full of wounds.

The release of Pijey became the moment Pijey introduced himself as a soloist who was preparing to enliven the national music industry. He joined the label last year, after receiving a recommendation from the dancer Resty Duo B.

Pijey wants to emerge as a person who brings positive energy to the surroundings. He believes that his presence should be beneficial for others and avoids becoming a source of toxicity in any relationship. This principle is reflected in his way of maintaining consistency between real life and the persona of the stage.
