Yovie & Nuno Celebrate 10 Million Streams On Spotify For Single For Example

JAKARTA - Yovie & Nuno with its current formation consisting of Adhyra Yudhi (vocals), Chico Andreas (vocals), Muchamad Ahadiyat (guitar), and Ady Julian (keyboards), celebrate the success of a single For example' which reached 10 million streams on Spotify.

This achievement indicates that Yovie & Nuno is still a group in the hearts of Indonesian music lovers, although they often change formations and are no longer inhabited by initial personnel.

Compared to several other songs, such as 'Without Love' and 'Keeping Heart' which has reached hundreds of millions of streams, it can be said that the achievement of the song 'For example' is not too big.

But for groups that have existed for more than two decades in the music industry, the 'For example' achievements released in late 2022 cannot be underestimated and should be celebrated.

Ten million streams indicate the listeners' response is still very positive for the group that debuted in 2001.

"We didn't expect many to be streaming (on Spotify), on Youtube too, and the comments were positive," Chico said in his statement, Tuesday, December 10.

The vocalist said this achievement proves what Yovie Widianto, who left the group in 2019, said that musical works from the heart would reach the hearts of listeners.

"We are always optimistic about our work. From the start we worked always pour out 100 percent of our hearts. So as Mas Yovie said, if we work with our hearts, our work will reach the listeners," Chico said.

Meanwhile, the single 'For example' written by Arsy Widianto tells the story of a man whose lover left him, but still loves him.

The song, inspired by Arsy's personal experience, has led Yovie & Nuno to a nomination for last year's AMI Awards, and this year reached 10 million streams on Spotify.

With the latest achievements, Adhyra has high hopes that Yovie & Nuno will continue to work in the Indonesian music industry.

"Hopefully (Yovie & Nuno) will always be supported with friends too," concluded Adhyra.
