Andre Taulany - Ayu Ting Ting Wants To Be A Duet Like Benjamin Sueb - Ida Royani

JAKARTA - Andre Taulany and Ayu Ting Ting have just launched a single duet by bringing back Nurlela, the song that Bing Slamet popularized for the first time in 1956.

Andre said this collaboration started when he and Ayu performed the song Nurlela on one of the television programs. The audience responded well and the video clip went viral on social media.

Therefore, Andre and Ayu ventured to work on a duet project more seriously. Unmitigated, they want to be a well-known duet like Benjamin Sueb and Ida Royani.

"So if in the past there was Benjamin and Ida Royani, we want to make the current version," said Andre Taulany during a press conference in Tendean, South Jakarta, Friday, November 29.

"The plan is, we really want to make a duet like the days of Bang Benjamin Sueb and Ida Royani," said the former Stinky vocalist.

The choice of Ayu as a duet friend, said Andre, in addition to getting to know each other because working in the same program for a long time, will be interesting to hear Ayu sing outside dangdut music.

"You've never heard Ayu sing pop-jazz," said Andre.

Furthermore, Andre also informed that he had prepared another work for this duet, not a cover song but a song he wrote himself.

"After Nurlela, there is already a single that has been created by myself, I made it," said Andre.

"The point is that we both want to make the version of Benjamin and Ida Royani. Pray, hopefully there can be the next single and entertain the Indonesian people, especially Indonesian music lovers," he concluded.
